No, Sikhism is not a copy of Islam. Sikhism is a distinct religion that originated in the Indian subcontinent in the 15th century, founded by Guru Nanak. While there may be some similarities between Sikhism and Islam, such as monotheism and an emphasis on prayer and community service, they have different beliefs, practices, scriptures, and histories. Sikhism has its own unique teachings, including the belief in equality, selfless service, and the importance of meditation on the divine name. **

To convert to Sikhism, one must first understand the beliefs and practices of the religion. It is important to learn about the teachings of the Sikh Gurus and the principles of Sikhism, such as equality, service, and devotion to one God. Once someone has a good understanding of Sikhism, they can approach a Gurdwara (Sikh place of worship) and express their desire to convert. The process may involve taking part in a ceremony called Amrit Sanchar, where the individual commits to following the Sikh code of conduct and is initiated into the Khalsa community. It is important to note that conversion to Sikhism is a personal choice and should be made with sincere intention and commitment to the faith. **

In Sikhism, there is only one God, known as Waheguru or Ik Onkar, who is believed to be formless, timeless, and omnipresent. Sikhs do not believe in multiple gods or deities, but rather focus on a monotheistic belief in the oneness of God. The teachings of Sikhism emphasize the importance of connecting with this one God through meditation, selfless service, and living a righteous life. Sikhs also believe in the concept of the Guru Granth Sahib, their holy scripture, as a spiritual guide that contains the teachings and wisdom of the Sikh Gurus. **

In Hinduism, the concept of manifestation is central to the belief in the various forms of deities or gods that are worshipped. Hindus believe that the divine can manifest in different forms to help humans connect with the divine. In Sikhism, on the other hand, the focus is more on the formless, omnipresent nature of God. Sikhs believe in the oneness of God and do not believe in the physical manifestation of God in idols or images. Instead, Sikhs focus on meditation and connecting with the divine through prayer and selfless service. **

For a research paper on Sikhism, it is recommended to use primary sources such as the Guru Granth Sahib, which is the central religious scripture of Sikhism, and the writings of the ten Sikh Gurus.
